The Chairman of Surulere South LCDA, Hon. Gbadamosi Murufu, popularly known as Obalagbe, has showered accolades on His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, as he marks 100 days in office during his second tenure. He said the Governor has lifted souls and raised hopes for the citizens of Oyo State.
In a press statement released by the Chairman, he said "The State has recorded another set of laudable achievements to complement the visible progress achieved during the first tenure.
The policies and actions of His Excellency are people-oriented as he makes the welfare of the masses his priority".
In furtherance, the chairman cited many achievements within the 100 days.
He said, He manages the dispute with the labor union with so much ingenuity and a great sense of responsibility, and the government’s ability to come out with palliative measures to cushion the effects of subsidy removal and currency harmonization shows his credibility and dexterity".
In Ogbomoso zone, Chairman said the Governor was magnanimous enough to provide palliative shuttle buses to move the people in Ogbomoso to the capital, he said GSM also made sure that palliative food items were distributed directly to the needy in the zone.
The Obalagbe also maintained "the Governor keeps solving different challenges as they arise in the state without stopping the waves of infrastructure projects across the zones in the state."
Oyo State people will always be grateful to God for having such a kindhearted governor who is always compassionate about the plight of the masses.
The Chairman finally affirmed his commitment to be a worthy lieutenant of the Governor; according to him, he said "As an ardent advocate and loyalist of his excellency, I will continue to join other well-meaning citizens to keep supporting the developmental strides of his excellency while heralding his good work to all and sundry.
He finally prayed that the Almighty Allah should give his excellency a long life to be able to render more services to humanity.
