In a significant educational initiative, approximately 500 students participated in the OGS Foundation Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) mock examination held in Ogooluwa Surulere. This event is part of a broader effort to prepare students for the competitive JAMB exams, which are crucial for gaining admission into higher education institutions in Nigeria.

The mock exam took place across 7 Centres in Ogooluwa Surulere Constituency on November 30, 2024, and was organized by the OGS Foundation, an organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for students in the region. The foundation aims to provide resources and support to help students succeed academically. The mock exam served as a preparatory platform for students, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the examination format and conditions they will encounter during the actual JAMB exams.

A notable highlight of this event was the announcement by the sponsor of the OGS Foundation, Ogunwoye Gbemiga Samson (OGS), that the top 100 performers in the mock exam would receive free registration for their upcoming JAMB examinations. This incentive is designed not only to motivate students to perform their best but also to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with exam registration fees. The sponsor reaffirmed his commitment to supporting educational initiatives and providing incentives that encourage academic excellence among students.

The successful execution of this mock exam underscores the dedication of both the OGS Foundation and its sponsors towards improving educational outcomes in Ogooluwa Surulere. As these efforts continue, it is hoped that more students will be encouraged to excel academically and pursue higher education with confidence.
