The orientation programme for freshers at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, which was held on February 5, 2025.

The Deputy Rector took the stage, advising the freshers on the importance of dressing well and avoiding drugs and other vices. The students listened intently, eager to absorb every word.
I was impressed by the turnout, as the hall was packed with students, faculty members, and other dignitaries. Notable figures in attendance included Prof. Bayo Fadeji, Mr. Omisakin, and Mr. Olawoyin Femi (SAO).
The programme was a huge success, with a friendly interfaculty quiz competition that saw the Faculty of Financial Studies emerge victorious. The atmosphere was electric, with students cheering and chanting for their respective faculties.
As I observed, COMRADE OLANIYI AJOKE DEBORAH AKA DHEBBI and her team had clearly put in a lot of effort to make the event a memorable one. The Student Union executives, Faculty and Departmental presidents, JCC executives, and Zone D representatives all played a crucial role in making the programme a success.
It was heartwarming to see the students so enthusiastic and engaged. As I left the event, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and hope for the future of these young minds.
