OSUN STATE JOINT CAMPUS COUNCIL
_05/03/2025_
Today, the leadership of NANS JCC OSUN met with various government officials working related with the students community, including the Commissioner of Education, Hon. Eluwole Sunday Adedipo, to discuss student related issues and express gratitude for the government's support.
We commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his contributions to the student community, particularly the free SSCE registration and eye care services for approximately 42,000 students.
Immediately after the familiarisation and other stuff, we quickly present our request that purposely initiated the meeting.
We highlighted challenges related to mobility, including difficulties faced during our recent trip to Abuja For the national convention, which brings about negotiating with commercial bus before Nigeria Student of the state can be mobilized out for the convention, We requested provision of buses for institutions and student organizations, including all sister organisations emphasizing the potential reduction in stress and financial burdens on the state government.
Additionally, we addressed concerns about the condition of roads within institutions, which may be causing several damages and issues for students. The Commissioner assured us that road construction projects are underway and will commence soon.
We appreciate the Commissioner's promise to present our requests to the government and look forward to a positive response as soon.
As always, our priority remains the interests of students, and we reaffirm our commitment to tirelessly working towards their success and convenience.
