National Association ofNigerian Students (NANS), representing the legitimate
students of Nigeria, hereby submit this petition against the unlawful and
disruptiveactivities ofNANS by oneAtiku IsahAbubakar.
Background:
The legitimate and democratically elected President of the National
Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is Olushola Oladoja, who emerged
victorious during theNANS convention held in Abuja on the 25th of February,
2025.
This election was conducted in accordance with the constitution of
NANS andwitnessed by relevant stakeholders.
Our Complaint:
Atiku Isah Abubakar, who did not contest for the position of NANS President
during the recent convention of NANS, has been falsely claiming to be the
President of NANS. This impersonation is a direct affront to the democratic
process upheld by the convention planning committee, the electoral right of
all NANS senators (SUG Presidents) and the legitimate leadership of our
association.
