Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, representing Osun East Senatorial District, has formally presented Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi, an aspirant for the Ijesa North Federal Constituency (Obokun/Oriade), to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders and youths in the area.
The event, which took place at Fadahunsi’s country home in Ilase-Ijesa, saw Olajengbesi, a renowned human rights activist and lawyer from Oriade, arriving with thousands of supporters from across Obokun and Oriade federal constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Fadahunsi emphasized the importance of unity and continued mobilization ahead of the 2026 Osun governorship election. He urged party youths to prioritize the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing it as a collective responsibility.
The task is simple, Adeleke’s second term is a must for us all, and we must all continue to work harder, Fadahunsi stated.
He further encouraged party leaders and youths to rally behind Olajengbesi, expressing confidence in their choice.
"Since both the leaders and the youths of Obokun Local Government brought him to me, I believe you won’t bring another person tomorrow? On this note, I hand him back to you all to work for his success and the success of our party.
