The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, heartily appreciates the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Osun State, Hon. Dipo Eluwole , for his effective communication and cordial engagement with the NANS National leadership during their recent campus tour in Osun State led by Comr. Olushola Ladoja, President of NANS.
Hon. Eluwole has continued to demonstrate purposeful leadership, commitment, and passion for educational advancement in Osun State. Since his assumption of office, the state’s education sector has experienced remarkable improvements, leading to Osun’s elevation to the 4th position nationally - a testament to his dedication and innovative reforms carried out on behalf of the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke.
We, therefore, extend our hearty congratulations to the Governor for appointing a visionary and competent leader to steer the education ministry in the state. His choice has not only strengthened the ministry’s performance but also made all student leaders across Osun proud of the administration’s commitment to quality education.
We are optimistic that the productive engagement between the NANS leadership and the Osun State Ministry of Education will further enhance educational development and positively impact Nigerian students at large.
Finally, we use this medium to respectfully remind the Honourable Commissioner of the urgent need to address the recent increment of tuition fees in Osun State University (UNIOSUN) and to consider a reversal and review in the interest of students and parents, as we remain confident in his leadership and responsiveness to students’ welfare.
