URGENT SECURITY ALERT

Comrade Ajibade kehinde Daniel,S’u president oscotech Esa Oke reported a pressing issue affecting the institution that needs urgent intervention by the government about the lingering communal clash in Esa-Oke which has escalated into a serious security threat, putting the students of Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH) at great risk.
While we acknowledge that the crisis is not directly related to the student community, but the situation has created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty, which is detrimental to the academic pursuit and overall well-being.
As young Nigerians striving for a brighter future through education, we should not have to live in fear of violence.
The safety of students should be a priority, and the current state of insecurity calls for swift and decisive action from the Osun State Government and all relevant security agencies.
In lieu of this, The above association plead to the management of the institution to declare all students free from campus if adequate and optimum security cannot be provided.
