Pelumi Olajengbesi, a human rights activist and lawyer, has felicitated Muslims in Ijesa North, Osun State, and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

This was contained in a message personally signed and made available to newsmen on Friday morning.

Olajengbesi, while wishing Muslim faithful, described the festival as a period of deep spiritual reflection and an opportunity to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

He urged Muslims to seize the moment to renew their faith, promote unity, and show love to their neighbors, particularly the less privileged.

"Eid-ul-Adha reminds us of the need to remain devoted to God and committed to the collective good of our society. I encourage all faithful to reflect on the teachings of the season and extend hands of support and kindness to those in need," he said.

Olajengbesi called for prayers for peace, stability, and sustainable development in Osun State and Nigeria at large.

He stressed the importance of unity across religious and ethnic lines.

He also lauded the efforts of Governor Ademola Adeleke in steering the affairs of the state and reiterated his commitment to effective representation and development in his constituency if elected.

"I wish all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Sallah celebration. May Allah accept our sacrifices and grant our nation progress," he concluded.
