Barrister Oluwole Jimi Bada,the Commissioner for justice of Osun State, has been presented an award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to fighting for the rights of the common man.
The award ceremony was held to celebrate the commissioner's meritorious and enviable prowess in ensuring justice and equality for the citizens of OSUN State and was presented by the Chairman Carteker Committee Comrade Olaniyi Ajoke Deborah Osun state Student Union President of polytechnic iree , a prominent figure in OSUN State student affairs.
According to Comrade Deborah, the commissioner has consistently demonstrated a strong dedication to protecting the rights of the vulnerable and marginalized, and his efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Some of his notable achievements include :
- Correctional Center Decongestion Drive: He initiated a program to decongest correctional facilities in Osun State, aiming to reduce the number of inmates and promote justice.
- Zero Tolerance to Gender-Based Violence Initiative: Barrister Bada has also launched an initiative to combat gender-based violence, demonstrating his commitment to protecting vulnerable populations.
- Securing Funding Approval: He successfully secured funding approval from Governor Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke for the renovation of the Ministry of Justice, purchase of a bus, laptops, and other technological equipment for counsel in the ministry.
