The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone, heartily commends Hon. Kappo Olawale Samuel, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Students’ Union Matters, for his laudable and visionary initiative of the Software Quality Assurance Training Programme which has benefitted over 600 students across various tertiary institutions in Lagos State.
This forward-thinking initiative is a clear demonstration of Hon. Kappo’s unwavering commitment to the growth, empowerment, and technological advancement of Nigerian students, particularly those within Lagos State. By equipping students with relevant digital skills in software testing and quality assurance, Hon. Kappo has not only expanded their career opportunities but also aligned with the global shift towards a digital economy.
NANS Southwest recognizes this effort as a remarkable step in bridging the gap between academic learning and employability skills, setting a laudable example for other public office holders and student-oriented policymakers.
