NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS), OSUN AXIS

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Osun Axis, wishes to sincerely commend the administration of Ademola Adeleke for the release of the first batch of successful applicants for recruitment into public primary and secondary schools across Osun State.

For many years, students and stakeholders in the education sector have raised concerns about the shortage of teachers in several public schools across the state. This recruitment process therefore comes as a welcome development and a clear indication that the state government is listening to the concerns of the people and taking practical steps to strengthen the education system.

Education remains one of the most important pillars for the growth of any society. When schools are well staffed with competent teachers, students are able to learn better, teachers are less overburdened, and the overall standard of education improves. By bringing in new teachers, the government is not only improving the learning environment in our schools but also creating opportunities for many young graduates who have been seeking employment.

NANS believes that this step will go a long way in improving the teacher-student ratio in public schools and ensuring that students receive the attention and quality learning they deserve. It also reflects a commitment by the present administration to invest in the future of Osun State through education.

We also congratulate all the successful applicants and encourage them to see this opportunity as more than just employment, but as a responsibility to help shape the next generation of leaders, innovators, and responsible citizens.

The National Association of Nigerian Students assures the Osun State Government of its continued support for policies and initiatives that genuinely promote the advancement of education and the welfare of students across the state.

Once again, we commend the government of Osun State for this positive step and encourage sustained efforts toward improving the education sector for the benefit of all.
